Last night’s reception was very well attended with over 30 people. We normally have a reception with each new exhibit providing a small table with food and beverages. Edward Cohen is the photographer who created the show. He had many of his own images displayed along with those of four other photographers. He can be seen holding his camera up as he attempts to photograph our Director, John McCarthy and other dignitaries who also spoke about the show. John gave a brief talk about VPC, explaining how our activities are a benefit to the community.
Charles Neville & his son played jazz music near the front of our exhibit space, providing a nice musical background.
The photo of the gathering is a two-shot panorama. You can see ghosting as the overlapping images were combined. It’s often very difficult to create a panorama from individual photos when people are moving about.
